A test should be completed under the same calculator, timing, and reference rules as the real assessment. Review every response at the end, group misses by cause, and schedule a new question that proves each correction transfers.
Fewer than you think, reviewed harder than you think. Eight to twelve questions worked carefully, with every mistake traced back to the first wrong decision, beats forty questions skimmed. Stop when you stop learning from the misses.
Write your own setup first, then open the hint. A hint read before you have committed to an approach tells you what to do; a hint read after tells you where your thinking went wrong, which is the part that transfers to the next question.
Practice is by unit, untimed, with an explanation after every question. A course test mixes units under time and holds explanations until you submit, which is what makes it feel like the real thing.
